Working of removing the 2TB limit of tapdisk, I’d like to have more discussion about tapdisk evolution further. I see 2 features that could be useful: block discard and live resize. There are also features of the blkif protocol not implemented in tapdisk that could improve performance? (multi-queue, indirect descriptors, …).
Is there interest in the community for those topics? Is this the right direction? Other things to consider?
